Hi Guys! I've seen lots of new neighbors and a couple of questions about Cool Spring Tilton Neighborhood Association on Nextdoor so wanted to share here as well. If you want to join Nextdoor it's very easy and you also can have access to other neighborhood associations across the City of Wilmington.

For those of you who are not members of the Cool Spring Tilton Park Neighborhood Association Facebook group or Nextdoor, there is another way to stay informed about the meetings and events. If you click below on neighborhoodlink.com and register as a neighbor, you will have access to all of the documents and minutes posted from the neighborhood meetings. Neighborhoodlink is a great way to review the files in an old school manner and stay informed. Jordan Howell records minutes each month with succinct, brief minutes. You can also make donations online at this site to the CSTNA.

Just go to "Pages and Documents" after you register. Documents go back to 2009.
We have a pretty robust and active Facebook group with almost 700 active members.
We invite any neighbors to join the group, and qualify with a couple of questions to ensure you live or work in our civic association boundaries.
Boundaries are Jackson, 6th, Rodney and DE Avenue
(The boundaries are currently incorrect on Nextdoor.)

If anyone wants to attend a CSTNA neighborhood meeting, they are open to the public and start promptly at 7:15 every second Tuesday of the month from September til June in the Lewis Elementary School Library. Entrance is on the Van Buren side off 10th street, and doors generally lock after 730pm (so message someone if you can't get inside). The current civic association President, Nate Durant, keeps everyone on track so the agenda is reviewed and you are usually home by 830 or 9pm. We have 30-50 neighbors attend each meeting. We have been fortunate to have regular participation of our council and WPD as well.
There is a file called CSTNASAFE in the Docs section that has every contact and email for our area and can be helpful as well.
Thanks. Heather
