Cottonwood Subdivision Homeowners Association

Hi,

Is there any interest in restarting up the Cottonwood Home Owners Association? We do have a set of Covenants but they have not been enforced for a number of years. A HOA may enforce the covenants or individuals may also enfore them.

Please repsond back with your feedback on this important question.

Do you have a set of the bylaws or list of the covenants?  I'm very interested in starting one as there are many violations which may be keeping home values lower than they should.. and we could use all the help we can get these days!

I was wondering if you are any of the other neighbors you know would be interested in doing a neighborhood cleanup.  We just need some volunteers and the willingness of the neighborhood to partake.  I can get my hands on some free sod and I'm sure if we put the word out there with flyers or go door-to-door, some of the residents might pitch in a dollar or two to fund some of the projects (ie, the fence on Sandreed that is and has been missing for years - it's only about 15 feet and would probably cost around $200). I also read that there may be grants available for neighborhood cleanup.  Maybe include local businesses for some tree pruning, painting, etc. but it is the lawns that are most desperate.  Let me know you thoughts.  I would be willing to give you my information so we can get the ball rolling.

I do have a copy of the covenants for Cottonwood. I will look to see if there is a way of posting all of the covenants on this site.
