Care to elaborate on who "WE" is?? BF?? Westy?? You do not have the "facts" so before you start the name calling, I suggest you do some homework. Let WW explain a few things to you, she's a smart cookie!! I don't care to have another person like BBW here, it accomplishes nothing. If you don't like what we are doing, fine, but don't come to this board looking for information, we're much smarter than that.

Ok, i'm getting a little hot under the collar here, don't worry, I'll be nice!! Br. Anon has in NO WAY told us what to do, thank you, we DO have a mind of our own and we can draw our own conclusions by what we read. What BF has done is UNETHICAL!! In due time the whole state will know WHY? Scared perhaps?? You should be. Like I said, if you can't be nice then don't bother posting. Our minds are made up and NO ONE will change that!

There is a lot you are missing here.
Br Anon helps us in that he tells us of places we may look for information. And he expresses his personal concerns, as a citizen, which we can certainly empathize with. But please don't think we just sit around and write his words down as facts.
We have copies of the legislative tapes, Broomfield City Council meeting minutes, The State Constitution, the Fair Campaign Practices Law, The Sunshine Law, both Feasability studies, etc. etc. etc. We study these documents and try to find explanations for things that seem wrong. Sometimes this results in a realization that we were on the wrong track, sometimes the opposite is true.
Also:
BrAnon, correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe that Broomfield citizens had little or no notice of the meetings with the Senate and House Local Governmnet and Appropriations committees. Certainly, those who felt passionate about the issue would have attended and spoke if they had known about them.
Your opinions may change if you study these documents as we have. And I encourage you to do that if you have time. And I can provide you copies of any of these things if you are interested.

To insinuate this group needs me as a leader is an insult to the goals and determination of the participants of this group. I have met none of them; and they did not come to me for an agenda; either on the net or in person. What you have here is a group deserving of admiration in their quest for fair practices in government; even if these practices fall under the realm of "legal"; do they always reflect the democratic process.
Please before you display any more of your total ignorance of the processes of this issue; make a tiny effort to do some individual research and become informed. The Broomfield Library is a good resource; there you will find at least one of the feasibility studies; the vision, master plan, and strategic plan for the City of Broomfield, the Broomfield Home-Rule Charter and minutes of City Council meetings for the last several years; all available at the reference desk and available to copy at will. Addtionally, there are original copies of the newspaper articles which followed the entire process; written by a very unbiased reported named Bryon Carver. This should be enough to give you information to converse at the level this group has achieved. From this you may form an opinion; determine whether it is worth pursuing the goals of this group; or as BBW said, there is a group in the oraganizational stages should CVLEG achieve the required number of petition signatures to take this to ballot.
To ask me to do your homework for you only highlights your lack of knowledge further; no one on this board is an errand person. From what I can tell, each is reponsible for an area of discovery; whether it be ballot, research, or communication. Take responsibility for your comments; and do your homework before you come in here with your pitiful ignorance and start making judgements.
