For those of you who are interested in what's going on with the North West Parkway - there is a Public Open House on the issue:

It is an open format meeting with no formal presentation.

If you are a Broomfield resident & not an elected official, or a family member of an elected official, why do you hide?
If you are so proud of your city leaders, why do you hide?
I simply don't believe you. Your rhetoric too closely matches Broomfield government propoganda.
If you are 'just' a BF citizen with no ties to the council, why are YOU not leading the charge to fight the repeal?

Tony,
We have lost so much open space to poor development. Did you know that Westminster only requires a 10% land dedication for residential housing development? And, they can take the cash in lieu of? These are pathetically low requirements and are difficult to deal with in annexation wars.
More pathetic is these cities touting they have residential growth caps! This is nothing more than a band aid solution to the problem. People are coming here because of jobs, no jobs, no people. The growth caps should be on commercial not residential.

support repeal
I support the repeal measure of Broomfield. It was the entire process that is alarming. What I understand, and correct me if I am wrong, these city officials presented themselves as citizens and then proceeded to lie to the senate stating the Broomfield Citizens voted in favor of the county? From what I have read, they only voted on the study. This is criminal to present this issue before the senate when infact the residents did not vote for it. How could any citizen of Broomfield support the City/County issue? It seems to be starting off shady already.
