I live on the Harpeth River in Franklin and on my way to work traveling on Sneed Road at River Circle Farm I saw what appeared to be a Wolf. We have many, many coyote sightings where I live but they seem to have moved on lately. This could be explained if this was a Wolf because it is essentially the same area and the Wolf will run the Yotes off. The Wolf upon seeing my truck sought cover really fast, where as a Coyote many times will just stare and ramble off.

This animal dwarfed a German Shepard, no way a Coyote.I have varmint hunted and taken many a Coyote and this was NOT a Yote. Keep your eyes peeled, if you ever see one in the wild, it"s spectacular.Even more rare is that I saw one in Franklin!!

what color?

I was traveling to work a week ago 1000 PM and saw what I thought was the biggest coyote I have ever seen. Just south of Highland on Arkansas Road, almost to Buckeye Road

It was so big, I was glad I was inside the car.  My Bro-inlaw saw one as big about 4-5 mile due east of that spot.  A budy at work saw one 5-6 mile due west from the spot I saw mine.

Saw what was either a coyote or wolf this evening. Can't find any info on others seen here in Mandarin area of Jacksonville. It was right off Mandarin rd near the river. I know the animal I saw was not a dog. Wish there was more info seems no has seen anything similar.
