S.O.S.

Really, now.....yack..yack..yack..same ole people, same ole gripes...does anything ever really change in this neighborhood? From the nasty neighbors to the dirt yards, to the poor guy who can't seem to figure out when he is suppose to water....give us a break. And now they only want to ''close'' the site. And honestly, aren't the same ole poeple still running this neighborhood that were here ten years ago? Stand up and scream......do something besides moan a bit.....you can bet your bum that I won't walk away without a fight to keep what I pay for.....got it??!!

The difference

Paul probably won't get labeled as mean and nasty because he didn't personally attack anyone. That's the difference.
If I need someone to discount what my problems/issues are, I just hope they can call themselves God. I work to better this neighborhood every day, if someone doesn't like my problem, don't read it, move on to the next posting-maybe it will be a great recipie for BBQ sauce. Because of discounting problems, some people are almost afraid to voice their concerns because they don't want to be labeled as whiners, complainers, etc. A sad state of affairs.

and be your own example to others. If your distisfied with leadership, become a leader yourself. There are many opportunites, even if not on the Board. Yes, we yack, yack, yack, so you can hear, but can you see? Many things have improved, as I've said before. We're part of the solution, not part of the problem. Where are you?

well, I am actually alot closer and certainly alot more involved than you may realize. After living here for 12 years, there really isn't any part of the association that we have not been involved in or with. Name one, we've done it. As for looking around, it has been our desire to sit back and see what happens without any involvement from yours truely. And quite honestly, what has happened? We have seen our once award winning newsletter, shrink to one page. The street corners, with a few exceptions, look like they were never tended to, and as far as comradship with others, well, we all know the answer to that. Just what has happened? Where are the strong leaders that once ran this place, and knew how to get things done..??It really does take more than garden clubs and drug marches to make it ''work''....And I choose to stay out of the hub, mainly, because the powers that be would rather not hear my point of view, as well as many others.....and then, what happens to ''our'' web page? Out of sight...out of mind..
