I find the new configuration at the entrance to Forest Pond to be more dangerous than it was prior to the road improvements. The new angle makes it difficult for drivers turning left to see. I noticed a light is already going in at Nevin and Sugar Creek.
How does everyone else feel about the new intersection? Any ideas on plan for a light at that intersection? |

Mallard Creek-Nevin Intersection
Yes, at this time the intersection has become more dangerous due to the angle of approach for making left turns. That will be fixed some time in the near future, the CDOT plan and funding included a traffic light and signage. How soon this will be completed? No word from CDOT on that question but the time line for completion was once stated as AUG 2007. |

Any way we can influence CDOT?
To ensure the light is installed sooner, rather than later?!!! Also, who is responsible for maintenance of the ''islands'' up there? The empty dirt is an eye-sore and if landscaped well could add a lot of ''curb appeal'' for our entrance? |
