There is a home on Timber Rise Cove that has been empty since last year some time. The owners (or the family that lived there) moved out and now rents a home near Southwind Middle School. I was told they were going to rent it to relatives. I guess that did not happen. It has never been for sale or rent. One of the problemsis that they have a board covering a broken window in the garage and it looks tacky and lends itself to be broken into. The owner comes by a few times a month a puts his garbage from his new home in the trash, puts it on the street and leaves. There are about 10 cats that have been roaming our cove for months. They get into the trash and it is littered everywhere. This is a real eyesore not to mention a probable health violation. Can the police post a notice to these people concerning the trash. Maybe we could just have the city pick up the trash can. I do not know the solution, but if you move and desert your home, then you shuld not be allowed to bring your trash and dump it. I informed the owner yesterday that the cats would get into the trash if he did not close the lid. As soon as he left, the trash attracted at least 4 cats.
The cats area problem also, I have run over one of them, they are all in my garage, my garbage cans (I cannot figure out how they get in them when the lid is closed) and always in my garage. I am a cat lover, but these cats need to be in a home and not roaming around.
Any solutions to these problems would be greatly appreciated.
