Can someone please let me know why there are two strange men standing outside my window putting up gutters???

I went outside to inquire about this hideous sound that woke me up today and was told Pulte is installing gutters around the homes where the water is leaking and erroding our homes.

I was not notified about this from our HOA nor Pulte. When I spoke with Gill he said it was an oversight not to let the homeowners know about this work.

This is the first day of my vacation and I'm upset I was woken up to this...if anyone knows why we weren't notified, please let me know.

HOA Was Unaware

I have been traveling frequently out of the area since October, so I apologize for the delay. I will tell you that gutter issues were identified as a problem the developer needed to fix before the HOA board would ''accept'' the property as finished. It has taken them this long to get them to take action! Not to mention, no board members were contacted about them coming out to do the work! Eventually, I think another board member spotted these workers and tried to persuade them to leave. At that moment, I received a call from the VP of Customer Service there that we had been working with over the past year. I reminded them of their obligation to notify us in advance of any work they were going to perform, but they claimed ignorance. Based on their historical record, we knew that if we sent them away, we would probably never see them again. (For example, how some of the parking lines were repainted, and some were not.)

I apologize for the inconvenience, but we our choice to proceed we hoped was for the greater good of the neighborhood.

We have a weather-resistant lockable message board on order that we intend to place by the mail center. We hope this will help us get info out to the residents quicker, especially with something like this.
