Greenwood Village is located in the northwest quadrant of the City of West Melbourne, at the corner of John Rodes Blvd. and Sheridan Road.
It is a limited access gated community with 256 individual units in 33 separate buildings. Thirty-one of the buildings house 8 units in a two-story configuration. Two
buildings house 4 units in the same configuration. The
buildings are judicially placed on paved roads over the
abundantly landscaped 25 acres. About 18% of the units are
rentals.
Each unit, within a building, has different floor plans. All units are either two or three bedrooms with two baths. Some units have a loft, which could be another bedroom or
den.
Eight unit buildings have two entrances that serve four
units each. All units have a garage, and a few garages are
two cars.
The GVCA owns a large two-story recreation building that allows unit owners and renters to pursue many social and
physical activities. The large second floor activity room,
with a kitchen, provides an opportunity for many and varied
activities. This is also the home of the Association's
Library. Within the building are two four-wall racquetball
courts, a large weight training and physical fitness room
with many training machines, male and female locker rooms
and showers, a hot tub, and wet and dry saunas. There is a
large outdoor heated swimming pool with an ample deck area. Also
available are two tennis courts and two shuffleboard
courts. There is a fenced area with playground equipment
for young children.
The Association has a fenced area for RV and or boat
storage.
The Village is a multiple-condominium association. There are twelve condominiums under the umbrella of the Greenwood
Village Condominium Association. Some associations are
only one building, others are two, three, four, or five
buildings. Therefore, monthly assessments vary by
condominium.
