Several homeowners in our community have not paid their 2009 annual fee.  Also there are several that owe for previous years, including 2009.  These delinquent payments total:  $1,710 for 57 homeowners who have not paid 2009 dues -------  $2,520 for 31 homeowners who have not paid 2009 dues nor some prior years.  Thank you to all those faithful homeowners that have paid their annual fees.  It is because of them that the entrances, access lot, detention area, taxes, po box fee, yard sale advertising and all other expenses are funded.

As you can see, $4,230 is quite a sum of money for unpaid dues.  At this point, we do not have enough money to maintain the mowing season, nor weed and mulch the areas.   If those homeowners would make their payments, the areas will still be able to be maintained.  Also, we would not have to bill again for annual fees until 2011 or 2012.

I'm hoping this message gets out to all those homeowners in arrears because we cannot afford the expenses of remailing invoices to everyone.

Payments can be mailed to:  Hamilton Highlands Homeowners Association, P O Box 189, Lockbourne OH  43137.

If you are unsure if you paid your dues, you may go to our contact page for the e-mail addresses of who you may contact.

As this is a critical situation, we need to have your payment by June 30, 2010.  Any payments not received by that date will be listed on the website.  To be included on that posting will be all addresses (not lot numbers) of those who have failed to pay their obligation.

Sure hope we get some more payments so our entrances continue to look great!  I think we have a great neighborhood and hope we get some payments soon!

That's a nice thought--but--we can't do that either because it costs around $30 to file each lien  Needless to say we do not have the money to do that.  I feel the same way about not being fair because I have paid my dues every year since the very beginning.  Come July, you'll know who those people are that are not paying their share.  It's a shame that those people cannot pay their $30 fee which actually amounted to $10 each for the last 3 years because we didn't collect 2007 and 2008 because there was enough money to maintain everything.
