Hamilton Highlands Subdivision

NO MORE MONEY

Posted in: Hamilton Highlands

Hi !! Just to let you know alot of people do not know about this sight. There are no newsletters going out to tell people. I have had 1 newsletter in almost 4 years that I have been here. So some people are not aware and what about the turnover ratio in residents here ? I am sorry that people are not paying up either. Some people just have it in their heads that they should not have to pay. I have tried to talk to our neighbors that are friends and it is useless. They just will not pay up. Maybe a letter should be sent out about the homeowners association and what it stands for. We never have received the bylaws  either. Just wanted to let you know what we have heard and feel. Maybe if some of these people understood what a good thing a homeowners association can be, they would pay up ?? Take care !!

Hello All,

I agree. I have just moved here and I've never heard of there being a homeowners association, a web site or that there are dues to pay. No one has come to welcome me or notify me of any responsibilities involving this neighborhood. I have only recieved two flyers stuffed in my front door that there is a meeting coming soon. There is mention of dues, but not what the dues are. I understand that whomever is in charge probably has little to no support, but this information is important if you want neighbors to pay. I work hard to keep my new house at least presentable and appreciate my new neighbors doing the same. I would be happy to pay my dues if I only knew how much they were and what they are for. If you are taking suggestions, I would say put together a welcome packet (it doesn't have to be large or expensive), monitor when a property in the neighborhood has been sold and let the new neighbors know that their help is needed.

I want to apologize I was the one that passed out the flyers today.

The dues are 30.00 a year they are for the entrances mowing and mulching and also for the detention area.

Please try to come to the meeting any help and ideas are appreciated.  If you have any other questions feel free to call me 588-6317 my name is ED.

Hope to see you at the meeting thanks for the message if everyone would get on the sight at least weekly and or come to a couple of meetings a year would be great thanks.

The dues amount omission on the flyer that went out was my fault.  In my haste to get them prepared and delivered by Ed, I forgot to include the yearly dues amount of $30.  I do keep tabs on the properties in here when they are purchased, but you were right on the little support.  A few people in a community of 168 homes cannot do it all.  Thanks for your suggestions.
