P.S.FOR YOU TO THINK "WE" NEIGHBORS, aren't concern with the 'SAFETY" of our hood, is soooo rideicolous. Why wouldn't we be concern? OUR home could be next targeted. But still believe we need to improve everyday,common, neatness to our property. Not asking for $$$$ to be spent on property, just cleaniness.

No, what's "soooo RIDICULOUS" is the fact that majority of our neighborhood is more worried about the petty problems rather than the major ones! Honestly, from most of the posts I've seen on here, im quite annoyed with my neighbors. Complaining about a VFW opening up beside our neighborhood? Are you kidding? So men and women can fight for our country and risk their lives for us but we're going to get angry that they build a place for them to meet near our neighborhood. Sorry but that's shameful.. Like i said "petty" issues! And by saying "our home could be next targeted" im assuming that you're house has not been broken into yet? Well if that's the case then I really dont understand why we're still even having this discussion because clearly you have no idea what it feels like to have your home broken into not once, but THREE times. To have everything taken from you and just the feeling you get knowing that a stranger has been in your home. Its not a good feeling walking into your home everyday, hoping that your door hasn't been kicked in yet again. And you're completely right, cops should start patrolling our neighborhood more, however i do not think that the reason no one calls the police is because they don't think it will do any good, I think its because people feel as though if they do not say anything then maybe it wont happen to them..and im here to tell you that that is completely incorrect..Its just a matter of time! And i understand the importance of a clean neighborhood but i read in a discussion where neighbors were talking about putting cameras in the detention area..why not use that money and those cameras to patrol our neighborhood? Set them up at the entrances! But like I said, you wont understand until it happens to you!!!  Have a good day

Ummm IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME!!!!  when I was alone @ 2:30 AM in a morning, ASLEEP. With 2 daughters asleep. So, I DO KNOW the feeling. Im not going to participate aruging over this. I agree with some of what you've said, and as for the VFW, yes I "was" in disagreement with it being built @ first, but IAM a big enough person to admit,(after meeting) the people there,I  WAS  incorrect of  opinions. As for calling cops 24/7, again,does no good.  Just less then 10mins ago, I watched "something" that I'd say was little suspecious, but am I going call CPD  & say I think, or maybe? NO, cause you can't "assume", you have to have proof. Yes, I also agree cameras need be where more good. And, more eyes on suspecion.
