Bring the Online World Offline
The more publicity the better. I really believe the Discussion Board has great potential for those motivated homeowners who regularly attend Board meetings, but the biggest obstacle as I see it is that probably only about 50% of our members are on the Internet. I think the national average is around 40%, so that's better, but not as high as I expected (probably an age thing).
To make it easier for those who are not online, I have made a hardcopy of most of the pages on the site (including all pages from the Discussion Board) and placed them in a three ring binder labeled "HPT Website" which I will leave in the Community Room on P-1. Keeping it up-to-date for the benefit fo the offline world might not be easy if activity picks-up, but I'll volunteer to help on this.
Should we put out a blank form for people to submit handwritten replies?
