Hickory Hills Neighbors

What is going on and why are selective posts being deleted and by who?  I read one of them evidently before it was deleted and there was absolutely nothing in there that wasn't useful or merited deletion. 

It was a homeowner that attended the meeting and reported that they were the only ones there beside board members, they had an issue to discuss with the board and it was resolved.  They wished that more people would go so communication would be better for everyone. ??? No rudeness, nothing bad, just information.

What's going on or being said in this neighborhood that's so bad that it can't even be posted!?   

I wonder the same thing, too!  I couldn't make it to the board meeting due to scheduling (and I'm really going to make an effort to go next time), but based on this thread it makes it sound like something major went down and now there's damage control going on.

Hopefully this post will not be deleted, but honestly, nothing major went on at the board meeting.  I do not think that some people like being challenged.  I would really like for EVERYONE to get involved so that there are no misunderstanding.  The Board is supposed to be our representatives.  We are the people who can decide how we want our community to be governed.  In accordance with the CC&R's of course.  If everyone would attend the May 10 meeting, we can make our voices heard.  Also as an FYI some of the members are up for reelection so this is definetly the time.

I saw that some were up for re-election this time around, but do you know who, or what positions, are up for re-election at this meeting?  How do these elections work?  Maybe Dorinda (HickHill) can comment on this.  I have not received anything regarding who is running for what position(s) or anything of the sort, so how are we supposed to make informed decisions, i.e. votes, at this meeting, or are our votes not even necessary? 

Adrienne, I got your message and have been meaning to call you back, but never think about it when it's a good time.....of course.  I have the May meeting on my calendar and plan to be there.  I'll do my best to drag a few others with me as well.  I'm still planning to call you back though...I'm curious to find out what all went down.
