Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association

answer from president?????

Posted in: Historic Old Northeast
on June 7th I posted a question here about the presdient of the association voting aginst all the members at the NDr Meeting- I asked for a response as to why

Does the association presdient not keep in touch by reading this sight and why will he not answer? I think we are owed a clear explanation as to how he can ignore the people he was elected to represent !

Get Involved!

Were you at the open meeting last night? Are you attedning the neighborhood meeting tonight?

Get involved!

Par for the course

What else would you expect from him?
Here's the Dilemma...

Here's the dilemma for you to consider. Board members, who are nominated and elected by the NSNA membership or are nominated and appointed by the Board are a diverse group. They live in various parts of the North Shore Neighborhood, they have different professions, they have different belief systems, and they have different viewpoints on what is in the best interest of the neighborhood. How do you think they know what the majority of the NSNA membership wants? Do 19 members attending the NDR Committee meeting on June 7 and voting "no" represent the neighborhood? We have a special meeting of the Membership this evening, and a vote of those in attendance will be taken. Will that fairly represent what the wishes of the neighborhood? Come to general membership meetings, attend board meetings as an interested member and make your wishes known to the board and ask tough questions of the board. Speak in person to the officers of the board, write letters. Your participation in the process is the only way to strengthen the NSNA and to insure that your interests are served. Our board's authority is derived from YOU. See you at the meeting tonight!
