St Petersburg Preservation Inc (SPPI) is a group of folks very dedicated to historic research and preservation citywide. I got the contact info that they will be having their next meeting on Tues Aug 13 at 7 pm.

In fact, their last newsletter had interesting background about the ''Monticello'' house on the southwest corner of Bay St and 6th Ave NE.
