Be careful to only post information you want available to the public, and remember that some members of your neighborhood may not be on Facebook. Don’t forget to invite your offline neighbors to any events you plan. Also, we are on facebook but Facebook’s recent newsfeed changes mean that all the information on the group’s page may not be distributed equally to all group members. An additional word of caution, Neighborhood groups can easily get out of control and lose their initial purpose. If too many people start posting to the group wall, it can start to flood your newsfeed with unwanted information.
