Thanks. Certainly not long winded but on point. I agree we should have sent out notices but my suggestion to do that was turned down. Now we look like we are hiding something. I like to be open as possible and of course my hope is that Lakeridge owners are as pragmatic as you are on HOA fees. I do agree that sq. ft. charges seem reasonable. Our units vary from about 675 to1250 sq ft. but all pay the same. Again thanks for the input.

Being on the board here in Lakeridge is a daunting task. There are so many repairs needed we basically are the little boy sticking his finger in the dike. I have learned the board is only as good as the Mgmt. Co. they hire and how effectively the board is at making them do their job. I have a strong opinion on this but won't make it public on here. Our last meeting had only one resident with minor complaints. Not sure if that is good or bad. I'm ready for my retort if any resident has a complaint in my direction. "Great, come and take my place right now. I'll nominate you myself." IMO we have a good board that is trying their best and thats all we can do. Lets hope for a better year. |
