Lincoln Park

Why is it that some residents are allowed to put items on ther property like, basketball goals , a swing which belongs in the backyard???? and trash cans that are visible from the street. This looks very tasteless and very unattractive. These residents should be given a  friendly reminder that these items need to be addressed ASAP!!!. It bothers me that when i come home and drive down marytodd all these items are visible and in plain sight. There are only a few homes  that are very  nice and very well maintained, ther yards are kept up and there property is in great shape, but then I look around to see other homes and I see trash, unkept homes, weeds on lawns grass that so high its disgusting, and fences that are falling apart. I mean thats why we have rules and regulations  that were approved by the state and HOA.  I rather take the long way home to get to my house in order not to pass these homes. Like they say there two ways to get home  not just the main street.

THANK YOU JEAN52, I LIVE ON MARY TODD AND HAVE A YARD THAT I TRY TO KEEP UP. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I PICK-UP MY NEIGHBORS TRASH CANS AFTER THE REFUSE COLLECTORS LEAVE THEM SLUNG OUT IN THE STREET. I RESPECTFULLY PLACE THEM EITHER BY THEIR GATES OR IN FRONT OF THEIR GARAGE DOORS. IF WE ONLY TOOK THE TIME TO HELP OUR NEIGHBORS OUT ONCE IN AWHILE, JUST AN ACT OF KINDNESS, IT JUST MIGHT CATCH ON. SURE MARY TODD IS THE MAIN DRAG IN OUR LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD, AND SOME OF THE RESIDENTS HAVE PHYSICAL DIFFICULTIES THAT LIMIT WHAT THEY CAN DO. I FALL INTO THAT SAME CATAGORY, BUT FOR ME I DO WHAT I CAN TO STAY ACTIVE. IT MAY TAKE AWHILE TO MAINTAIN THE APEARENCE OF MY YARD, WHILE TAKING BREAKS, BUT I GET IT DONE. I ALSO TRY TO HELP MAINTAIN MY NEIGHBORS YARDS SO MINE LOOKS EVEN BETTER. YOU HAVE PROBABLY READ MY RESPONSES TO OTHER REPLYS. AT TIME I VENT HEAVILY AND GET OFF TRACT, FOR THAT I'M VERY SORRY IF I HURT THE FEELINGS OF OTHERS WHO READ THESE BOXES. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO NOTICE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD. PLEASE ATTEND THE HOA MEETINGS AND TRY TO GET OTHERS INVOLVED WITH YOUR CONCERNS AS WELL AS THEIRS. TOGETHER WE CAN STRENGTHEN OUR HOA AND MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT IN LINCOLN PARK.
