When a comment is removed, I assume that means the person was being inappropriate?

I only remove comments for the following reasons:

1.  I made a mistake.

2.  The issue has been resolved - No sense beating a dead horse. 

3.  Inappropriate name calling.  If you disagree with a persons comments it doesn't mean that they are stupid or idiots.   So when someone resorts to name calling I will delete it.  

4.  I beleive this website will help neighbors to get to know each other, help resolve issues, and a great tool to help plan neighborhood gatherings, etc.  It is not my place to make any judgements on peoples comments.  I have only had to delete one item for name calling.  So we are doing good.
