I am looking for someone to repair the tile and/or grout work done in my upstairs bathrooms. I guess since my builder won't take care of me I have to take care of it myself. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

It will be difficult to find a Co. or an individual to fix someone else's mistake. If your tile problem occurred during the one year home warranty and is documented accordingly, I would suggest calling in the Grout Medic or Grout Dr. to estimate the cost of the repair. It may be that your builder is either out-of-business or that he can't find someone to do the repair. Anyway, if he refuses to fix it, have the tile Co. fix the problem and then place a lien on the builders personal residence for the billed amount. You may not get your money back, but at least you will have the satisfaction knowing that the builder will have to deal with the lien when he decides to sale his house. Have you noticed, of the original 20+ builders that were listed as LSF preferred builders, only 3 remain. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming your warranty is up, or more likely, you knowingly purchased without a warranty being that a lot of the builders went out of business. Am I right?
I'm sorry you are facing this issue; it must be difficult and hopefully it's not too costly. However, if you have no warranty, it's no longer an issue of "my builder won't take care of me". My advice is to take the opportunity to get it done right and move on.
Good luck!
