I would like to see nice entrances to our neighborhood at Acapolca and Mile of Sunshine. Ideally there would be stone walls with Sunshine Acres etched into them, lovely landscaping, and soft lighting to alluminate the entrances at night. There are very many nice examples in Louisville for us to draw upon.
What do you all think? Please submit your ideas! Thank you!

Entrance
I think that is a great idea. I'm sure that among the residents there are landscapers, carpenters, masons, etc who would give of their time and effort. I'm none of the above but I do enjoy getting out and digging in the soil!

Entrances
A few points:
* All real property in SANA boundaries is privately owned (commercial or residential with none belonging to SANA).
* Property owners would simply not allow SANA to build on their property. (Liability and reduced property values).
* SANA likewise would be very foolish to build and expend funds on something that SANA will never own, and could be simply torn down by the next owner.
Without dues or assessments, where would SANA get money:
A) To buy or lease property?
B) To get permits, then build, wire (for lights), and meter (1 meter per entrance, w/ underground & under-roadway connections) these entrances?
C) Pay the electric and liability insurance bills?

How do you know?
How do you know that property or business owners would not allow this? Why couldn't the SANA do fund raising, or gather donations for this type of project and get proper approvals? Where are you getting your information?
