The city will provide lighting if enough people complain and it will come out of the Metro pocketbook.

No Lighting Needed - Please.

''EYE', you are right.

But streetlights are not everybody's cup of tea. It's actually nice to be able sit on your front porches in somewhat darkness; it feels more like the country. And I am teaching my children about the night sky - please no streetlights for us.

Besides, a Block Watch is all we need anyway. Get to know your neighbors, have meetings, ''chili parties'' - and no need for a treasurer.
