That's something that I have been reeling through my head for a couple of weeks, that's why it's taken me some time to post something about this, because I wanted to think more about it before I talked about it.
A couple of weeks ago, my neighbor told my husband that she got into a confrontation with someone who was walking their dogs and they allowed them to poop in our front yard. (I wasn't really that aware we had such a pooping problem in this neighborhood until I read the other postings about it, and until my neighbor told my husband about this) My neighbor went and asked them to not have their dogs poop in our yard, as a sidenote these dogs were not on leashes as well. But when she confronted them, they became very hostile with her, to the point she was going to call the police about it. She told my husband that they had made a comment to the effect of, ''They don't care about their lawn anyways, they haven't mowed it.'' Well, yes, it's true that our lawn needed a good mowing, and here is where I come to the 'think before you act' part of this posting.
My husband and I do work, and sometimes more than we would like. But also the week that this had occurred we had gone through a death in the family, my uncle had passed away after being ill for some time. We hadn't had a chance to mow the lawn, and I took a slight offense to that comment. Please think before you act, there could be more to a situation than you know.
I guess there are two things that I wanted to impress with this posting, and along with the 'think before you act' part, it is the dog pooping part. Dogs are like children, if your child were to create a mess on the street of some kind, let's hope it's not poop, but if your child would create a mess, it is your responsibility to clean it up, end of story. Be an adult, and be responsible.
