Trick or Treating

As a matter of fact I was serious. I think that it's about time and a way to begin to take our neighborhoods BACK!. I believe that if the adults and parents get out with their children and in your front yards and participate it could and would be great fun.. I for one love to see the small children dressed up and say ''trick or treat''. As far as the older, sloppy, rude teenagers, I just turn off the lights around 9pm and tape a note to the front door ''out of candy''

imported trick or treaters

I agree 100% I dont think there are enough young kids in the area of trick or treating age and the ones I know usually go to church functions.
I see no reason to encourage bus loads of kids from other areas to roam our streets in the dark.

I agree with Lisa

Lisa, I agree with your idea of decorating the neighborhood for Halloween. I live in the same area as you (Quince/Willow/WhiteStation/Perkins)
If you want to send out the ''Bat Signal'' on Halloween night we can send all the trick or treater's to your house. HA HA I aint buying any candy.

Decorations

Please keep in mind most of our neighbors are seniors and have fixed incomes. Some have trouble making ends meet. They can't afford to buy such trinkets when there isn't enough money for medication and food and the MLGW bill.

And with holiday decor, please keep an open mind. Not everyone celebrates the same Holidays.
