A neighbor informed me this morning that around 10:00 there was a theft of items from two cars at one house. Be on the lookout for suspicious people as they are hitting our neighborhood hard, and be sure to keep your cars locked.

Just a suggestion

My husband and I live on Hummingbird...we just leave our cars unlocked with nothing of value in them. That way, you do not have to pay to repair the window. It has worked well for us, so I thought I would mention it.

Leaving your car doors unlocked is an invitation to having your car stolen.
Please dont suggest people do that.
I doubt robbers would take the time to read this site but its never a good idea to tell too much of what you do for security around your house...

That is flawed logic. I leave my car unlocked. If someone is going to steal it, then they are going to steal it. If they just want to see what's in it, and the door is locked, they are going to pop the lock out of the door or break the window. It's a free country, and people can suggest whatever they want to. Yeah, I'm sure that thieves are just glued to this website.
