Tax Stamp

Several years ago legislators decided to come up with more of a penalty for dopers so they created what is known as a drug tax stamp. If you have dope you are required by law to purchase a drug tax stamp for the amount of dope you have. True, no doper in their right mind, (contradiction of terms there) will buy a stamp. It is a way for the law to make the penalties tougher on the dopers. Some stamps have been sold tho, to collectors.

As far as we needing more safety people, couldn't agree more. And it could be paid for very simply, by public vote and proper use of local option tax money. Instead they would rather blow this money on other things without completing the original work it was intended for. They have already tossed millions of dollars from this money which could have put many new cops and fire people including equipment on the streets.

I think the local sales

option tax was intended for just what they are using it for. Community improvemnet. I think there is a stipulation it cant be used for salaries of cops. Not sure but I think so. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.
No matter how many cops you put on the streets, someone is going to be a criminal. We need to have more but dont be lulled into thinking the only answer is to put a cop on every corner.

The DTF is a bunch of hardworking and dedicated cops that go after and do in fact get the dope off the streets. We need to applaud them. They are low key and nearly invisible. Just the way undercover cops outta be. GREAT JOB DTF. KEEP LOCKING UP THE DOPERS!!!!
