I also alluded to the need for books(in my previous post) for her older daughter as she was planning on going back to school. I stated I wanted to help with that cause.

I was not aware of her other children but having kids in grade school must make this a very hard time for the whole family. I am thankful that other posters here want to do something in her name and you can count me as one of them.

Perhaps Frazz might be the one to coordinate this effort or at least some of her friends who also post here.

I also like the idea of doing something for her daughter's school in her name. It would be nice for the children to learn just what 2 cents could do for them as they grow older. But right now, her older daughter must be finding it harder to return to school while dealing with her mother's passing.

I'm giving it some

serious thought, not quite sure what to do or how to go about it. Anybody have any suggestions or advice, I'm all ears.

Some Ideas

If her daughter is going back to school and needs help purchasing the required texts, I think we should help with that.

None of us knows the circumstances of her family, needs, etc. If there is a financial problem, we could all make a donation to help out.

As far as providing books to students in the elementary school, we could consider sponsoring a reading books contest in her name. We could also purchase a series of books where members of the neighborhood could go to the school and read them to the class.
