I'M SO GLAD YOU UNDERSTOOD

It was such a magical day, a gift I'll treasure forever! I'm glad so many of my neighbors understood! Does anyone else try to find a happy memory to visit when life gets you down?
I can close my eyes, see & hear the excitement in all our youngsters eyes, exclamations as everything unfolded! God, I wouldn't trade that opportunity for a million dollars!
JR... I probably did meet your blonde wife & your offspring! Lots of blondes, lots of offspring! LOL! I hope that she & your child/children were as appreciative of this opportunity as I was! Your wife is right re: the ice cream! Wilton PTO payed for the dessert dish, we didn't! We told the kids in ''our little area'', This is a happy day! You didn't get ice-cream, you have a lot of happy memories to take home! You got pizza, macaroni, a cookie & an awesome play! Our kids got a lesson in life. I again quote the little guy that looked up @ me and with the widest eyes said, ''This is the best place I have ever been in my whole life!'' When the ghosts ran through the audience, one almost touched my grandaughter's hand! Highlight of HER DAY!
JR. Your child is in the BEST school, IMVHO! Glad you posted! Thanks to all the other posts!

kanyewest? speaking of gifts!

There are many children that will wake up on Christmas morning without A Wii, an Ipod, A cell phone & many of the gifts other children are blessed to have. ALL COLORS, from many different backgrounds.
Many will find the world unfair. A few will appreciate that they have loved ones around them, food in their bellies & the belief that w/ continued hope & determination & a desire to become educated they can make their dreams come true.
They can become the leaders of our world.
There is no shame in poverty. I grew up seeing many of my friends get the gifts I wanted. It only made me more determined, I didn't blame the world. The world is what it is.
I close my eyes & see the children I was speaking of in my original post, kanyewest. I didn't see the color of their skin! Neither did their teachers or the other chaperones! We saw the sparkle & beauty of their souls experiencing the magic of a new & magical experience! There are enough negative things in this world. This was NOT one of them.
