School colors

I currently have an 8th grade student at West. I'm O.K. with them going to purple and gold using handmedowns. If you ever had the chance to wash some of their blue and gold uniforms you would agree. Most were torn/smelled(after washing) and they had only a few sizes. I think the kids enjoy wearing the purple and gold. They feel like they are part of Muscatine Sports.

its just that the colors represent being individual schools, and I have many blue sweatshirts, pants, etc.!! Its just been those colors for so long!! They are already dending out order forms for the NEW color sweatshirts and T shirts..Wonder what color they will be next year?

Sorry the color thing upsets you so. How do the other students feel about this? Hell, I don't even remember what my school colors were. Black and blue maybe. LOL.

Its ok, I've wiped my tears and moved on. Guess its all a money issue..The students divided with a lot thinking that why can't they have their own colors when central does..teacher said its stupid.
