Hey joey,

Don't get your shorts in a bunch! To me, the color thing is a non-issue. There are far too many other serious school matters to worry about.
Oh, my son plays football for Central, their home uniforms are also purple and gold. Green snd white are gone.

Did you not read it, i've moved on and my shorts never bunched once!!! Go figure!!!It was just a simple discussion about tradition, etc.etc..

chime in with mytwocents, I attended both West Jr. High and Central Jr. High (when it was located on Iowa & 6th). West colors were blue and yellow, Central's were green and white.

I agree with both sides of the argument. Costs are definitely an issue. But I see your point as to the separation and idenity issue as well and I don't disagree with you.

I know there are those who'll disagree but what it comes down to is maintaining a simple balance where everyone is treated equal and any identity you may have had is being melded into one identity which is much easier for everyone to identify with.
