Muscatine

Ok for the city workers watering plants on 2nd street to drive the wrong way on a one way street. I live down on 2nd street and every morning when I leave for work they are out watering the plants on the light posts from a truck. They then turn around and fly down the block the other direction (the wrong way) I was almost hit by one. I see dumb people do it all the time that just get confused that this is a one way, but the city people know better and do this every day. What makes them above the law? I have seen plenty of people on this street get pulled over by the cops for doing it why not them? It is not that hard to turn up pine street and go back down 3rd street and then back down 2nd street on the side that still needs to be done. Is it just that they are just to lazy to go around the block? If they hit someone the city will have more problems to deal with. Anyways I just thought that I would throw this in and see what you all think.

okeydokey for them to drive the wrong way as long as they are watering the plants. I believe they thought of that as they planned their daily routes. I also think given the world situation we have a lot of much more important things to worry over. Lighten up and enjoy the flowers and say thanks to whatever God you worship for what you have.

a letter to the authorities. When I still drove I was behind a city bus for some time. I noticed that each time it made a turn the driver never signaled. I continued following that bus to see if it was just a one turn thing but it's signals were never used.
I sent a letter to the garage on Washington. Problem solved.

Exemption

The Iowa code exempts road workers from various restrictions that you and I must conform to. Efficiency being the key, notwithstanding safety first.
