boredom??

When I was a kid we made our own fun. Go out and make a mud pie, climb a tree, go to the park and watch the other people (having fun), look at the sky and see what the clouds look like, go fishing, sit on the porch with your neighbor and talk about what interest you and let them talk about what interest them, hold hands while taking a walk along the river,go out and dig a hole just to see whats in it, smile at each other and say I LOVE YOU. There are alot of things to do here in Muscatine, all you have to do is use your imagination. Imagination is what I feel is lacking in the younger generation.

Yeah

I suppose when you don't count three great golf courses, a nice riverfront, high school athletics, an interesting downtown area, the brand new Menards that will hopefully put Wally-World on the defensive, some nice open air markets, a really good YMCA, and larger cities to the east and west within a half hour drive, there really isn't much to do here.

Mamma always said

that only boring people get bored. Get involved in something. Go to church, a ballgame, say hello to strangers, wave at strangers---you will meet folks if you try.
