Again, speculation and assumption on your part.

What I've found about gossip is that it normally does more harm than good, and those that spread it have such empty lives that they revel in causing others discomfort.

This, for me, is not about a local business, but people who spread rumors without facts to back it up.

Go volunteer someplace. You obviously have way too much time on your hands.

Are you the NL police now? The world revolves around rumors and if this is just another rumor then so be it. It's not your place to tell someone what and where to post information.

The 3 local banks are here to stay. All of them have been around for decades, none of them are going anywhere.

Even the banks that get bought and sold monthly (I can't think of the name, but it's right by the Oil Change place on Park Ave.) don't scare me. If my bank is FDIC insured, I'm good with it. None of them are going to up and leave town in the middle of the night.

All banks try to ''drum up new business'', as does ANY business.

You might spend too much time watching local cable :)
