I want to apologize for my lack of clarification on the situation I/we now face.
I am dying, slowly, from a ''GOD''-awful disease. UNCONTROLLABLE, UNCONTAINABLE disease. It's called RMRWBP, or in Lamen's terms: Religiously Motivated Right Wing Bigoted Politics. It's being compounded by ignorance, insolence and petulance.
And I'm not the only one who will be killed by this, as we saw in Cleveland today. WE all will be. And it may happen soon.
We're moving into dangerous waters with the Soviets, who say Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons capability, a statement that should speak volumes.
Our President has lost so much credibility in the world that his wife is now writing op-ed's in the NY Times about the situation in Myanmar. It's ironic that while the ''First Lady'' is calling for peace, her husband and his cronies are looking for ways to start more wars. More wars we can never win, by the way. And now that we're pissing of the Turks who are pissed at the Kurds(we rely on both of them heavily in moving supplies in and out of Iraq).
The Army says it's reached it's goal of 180,000 recruits, but then conceded that their were less black and high school recruits(?) and more with legal problems. So I guess we solved the prison overcrowding problem.
Theirs no problem with our gun laws the way they are, yet another teen starts blasting away, even though he verbalized numerous threats over the past months. Where are the parents, the teachers, the social workers? Oh yeah. They're ignorant, insolent and pestulant.
Bush won't sign a terror surveillance bill, stating that he wants liability protection for telecommunication companies that he used to spy on ANYBODY HE CHOSE to after 9/11. Basically thata means ''If I can't spy on everybody, I ain't spying on nobody'' Brilliant, GW.
Wake up people. I ain't dead yet, and neither are you. Not yet anyway.

Oh, and I ain't goin anywhere. I love you guys way too much.

Peace.

wasting your time

you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. good luck buddy but your talking to the wall.
mobaydave

is right. But your points are well taken for interesting and stimulating debate. Too bad mobaydave is so right. As he points out you're only talking to walls and walls hear only what they want to hear.

I believe the majority of the posters, aside from a couple of names, are sick to their stomachs at what they see happening to their country and their just damn tired of talking about it. I don't blame them. There's one specific loon who will always pop in to defend W regardless of what W does or doesn't do. Just like every village needs an idiot, our blog needs it's troll.

Don't stop posting, I find you're posts interesting and invigorating. Keep up the good work and continued good luck on your Presidential campaign.

gun laws

Sorry I don't believe in gun laws. My grandmother grew up with dinamite in the barn. A gun loaded hanging over the mantel and whiskey setting in the pantry. She grew up with 7 siblings. It never crossed her or anyones mind to touch any of it. And you never heard of any kid blowing up someone. Are you kidding. Even look at any of the stuff and your britches would be dusted. Children can learn not to touch something. My grand children moved in with us suddenly. I didn't have time to ''child proof'' my house. I just took them around and showed them what they couldn't touch and handed them what they could. I have never moved my precious breakables. Never will. They know better than to touch them. I grew up with a gun in my house. It was on the shelf where all of us put our coats. It was my job once a year to clean off the shelves. After 40 years my parents my parents moved. Dad laughed you could see the ring around the gun I never washed. I was told not to touch that gun. I never did. We as parents have failed to teach our children badly. I would rather have my tail end dusted than what were seeing in this day and age. P. S. Stoner I'm glad your only dying of bordem than illness!
