Our whole family went to the open house @ the new Tantra Restraunt tonight! Thank you for the heads up, pmsdiva! It was AWESOME! Free food, wine & assorted drinks for all! They offered appetizers & meals in an ''all you can eat & drink atmosphere''. The restraunt is beautiful & the food was great! My husband is strictly a ''meat & potato kinda guy.'' I had to drag him to this. He was totally impressed & went back a ''few'' times! I have to admit, so did I!
Some of the foods offered, we might not have tried reading it from a menu. ''Crispy Banana Roll?'' Yep...a spring roll that has a banana in the middle. It was awesome! They offered Spicy Basil Noodles; (I was afraid of that...IT WAS PERFECT! not too much spice). The Panang Chicken Curry was just right. My husband, (the meat/potato man) LOVED the pineapple fried rice AND the coconut Shrimp! (He hates shrimp)!
I & many others loved the Shrimp in the blanket.
I circled everything we liked on the take-home menu. It looks to me that the prices are reasonable. Lunch is $6.95, (soup of the day added). Dinners: most expensive meal: salmon: was 12.95.

That isn't bad. My husband and I have been kinda curious about this place, neither of us have ever tried Thai food. Thanks for the info, Tlou. We'll definitely try this place.

Thanks so much for the review. I've never tried Thai food and have various people try to tell me what it's like, but now I can find out for myself. I wish I could have gone last night, but I'm definitely trying it next week for lunch.
