Muscatine

Has anybody tried the restaurant/cafe where Golden Corral used to be? We had lunch there today and it was really good. I had the cherry, walnut chicken salad on wheatberry bread and it was wonderful.

The only drawback..and I don't really consider it a drawback...they were pretty full and the service was a bit slow, but they've also just opened and I think there were only a couple of empty seats in there. We didn't have dessert, but it sure looked awesome.

They also have some neat craft/gift type items and the prices for what I looked at were very reasonable.

The breakfast menu is very reasonably priced and looks pretty darn good, too. I think they open at 6am, but I don't know how late they're open and I don't know if they're open that early every day, but if you haven't been there, you should try it.

I don't know about tea. I didn't order coffee, but I noticed that when the waitress got coffee from somebody who did that there were several different levers, so could be they have it.

I thought it was just a gift shop. Didn't even realize there was a cafe in there. Thanks for the info.
