Muscatine

First off, I am the Aunt of one of the organizers of the Haunted Shop Of Horrors. I have been reading several posts on this topic for several days now and have kept quiet until now which is really tough to do when family members of one of my own are being slammed down. But this is ENOUGH. For you to publicy blame the Evans and the others for your own screw up is just plain childish behavior and not to mention embarassing on your part. You are supposed to be a Chairman for this event every year? When you act the way that you did and said the things you did (accusing), to me that sounded like something my children at school would do. Just how old are you? My family was not raised to do any of the things that you are accusing them of doing. We come from very good upbringings and never had to resort to childish behavior the way you did in the Muscatine Journal. If you think that you are getting even for them opening and you cannot, then you picked a fine way of doing it. I am very sorry for your not being able to open this year but PLEASE do not act like a child and take it out on those who can and went out of their way to do so. I honestly think that if you are a true man you would publicy apologize to the family for blaming them. Not only on here but mostly in the Muscatine Journal. If you choose to not do so, well then, I guess that you are not who you claim to be then are you? I used to have the utmost respect for the Muscatine Jaycees but now after this my feelings have changed a bit. Prove to me and the rest of Muscatine that the Jaycees can still be a respected Organization and not have childish behavior added to their name.

Yeah right sunset, I know who you are, and what your family is like, and your fine upbringing, so don't start that holier than thou crap again. I definately wouldn't put it past some of your family members to whine and cry to someone, until this happened. Sad part is the Jaycees are a not for profit entity, unlike the other place, kind of puts them in a ''monopoly'' position now don't it. I bet they are real upset that the Jaycees had to close down. The real losers are the ones who benefitted from the Jaycees.

I am so glad you do know who I am. Now stop hiding behing your name and tell me who you are. Not that I give a ****.
My family has never claimed to be holier than thou. We were brought up to be respectful of everyone, that is until we get crapped on and then we fight back and stand our ground. Now you just go on believing what you choose to believe about my family and we will continue to be the family that we were raised up to be. And fighting with idiots is not in that plan.
