Is that why you're confused and beating this dead horse?

Whose beating the dead horse?  This was at the bottom about to turn the page and who brought it back up?

In reality, only an Attorney-at- Law can give legal advice

Is this a law?   Who says others can't give legal advice besides you?

Mal, in Iowa as in most states it IS illegal to practice law without a license.  Giving legal advice is considered practicing law.

Logic - Enjoy your input, but I think the point was that the quote "In reality, only an Attorney-at- Law can give legal advice" is legal advice in and of itself. Hence the question why can only JC give legal advice.

I am very perplexed - how on earth did you take my statement that only an Attorney-at-Law can give legal advice and twist that into "legal advice in and of itself"? You are beyond hope and I wonder why I waste my words on the likes of you. Opie is correct - you DO provoke people.

What kind of advice was that if not legal advice?   What would you call it?   You advised me of what you think is legal, an Attorney giving legal advice, and what you think is illegal, my giving legal advice.

I got no response to my question.   Can one of you legal experts tell me?   If someone comes to me with a problem which I think requires a lawyer and I suggest "get a lawyer", I would call that giving them legal advice.   What is your name for that advice?

You formed an opinion and made a judgement about Bahamian law, mall, then broadcasted that judgement here to advise the public of your opinion on the law....Isn't that everything davieboy and you complained about relative to giving legal advice?

I formed no opinion and made no judgement about Bahamian law.   I know nothing about Bahamian law and need not know anything about Bahamian law.   I do know that the laws of one nation don't apply in another nation.

Sorry, I lied.   I do know something about Bahamian law.  It apparently requires you to drive left of centerline.   But don't take that advice from me.   If you go there and rent a car, ask the advice of a Bahamian attorney before you drive it.

I truely hope your just being silly here, nobody can be foolish enough to believe that is giving legal advice.  But apparently you are not actually looking for answers but merely attempting to prolong an arguement as I have already answered this broadly in a previous posting.
