In 2006, when this process of raising the debt ceiling was taking place, then Sen Obama proclaimed that raising the debt ceiling was indicative of poor leadership and he and every democrat voted no. So now the shoe is on the other foot and he wants to blame the "other side" because they KNOW that the need to raise the debt ceiling is due to poor leadership and fear him leading us to the downfall of this country.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have 14 million Americans who are out of jobs. So all this detracts from any efforts to get things settled so that jobs can be created.

Is it any wonder that Congress has a 6% approval rating?
