The last of July, Sen. Mark Rubio predicted in a speech on the Senate floor, that unless we got our debt and borrowing under control with a meaningful and logical plan, our credit would be downgraded (whether we raised the debt limit or not). I had seen parts of the speech on tv before, but that is one great speech that lays the problem out in detail and and lays it at the feet of those responsible. As for sen kerry, you have heard the axiom "stupid is as stupid does" - that says it all. Those lefties love that word hostage don't they?
So I hear the geithner will stay on as treas sec'y. One more brilliant move by POTUS.
