Truepatriot. We had it last evening. I have done brats in beer and some old fashioned pork roast wrapped in bacon in a beer marinade. But oddly all the meals over the years have never done chicken it turns out, in beer marinade. We actually cooked brats in the beer concoction. Not a brat fan myself, but the men sure did like them. I'm a bacon and roast kinda gal. But to chicken I tip my bonnet. So many ways ans so many styles of utensil to prepare those succulent birds.

Yes! Those barn yard ladies are some of my favorite dishes. One day we could write a book called "1001 Ways to Eat a Chicken". There's Fried, broiled, baked, chicken keva, cordon-blu, nuggets, strips, etc, etc, etc, ect.....

Now we need to get busy on the other white meat's future in the litchen. You know they have finally cut the temp of pork to 140. I always cooked to 145 the other white meat. 160 though for chicken, turkey, dick and game hens. I also found out long ago, that chicken is the only thing that tastes like chicken. Lets all get to writing and perhaps it will be done before we  croak.
