So let me see here.  You said Rush "actually believes some of the stuff he spews from that mouth".  I assume that you mean he believes stuff that isn't true, which if he says them,  makes them lies.  What am I missing here?  Does he lie or not?  Of course he didn't support EVERYTHING Bush did, and I maintain that in fact he was critical of W more often than not, because I heard it so often.  Did you?

I ask again what specifically Rush has said, that you have heard with your own ears,  that represents these untruths, or lies, or made-up stories that you dislike so much.  If you're only getting 3 minutes at a time like our resident knucklehead, you might not quite get it.  There is a reason behind his huge popularity.

Fox? If I may, if you told me rush lied and I repeated it, that makes me a liar? Nope it makes us both a little uninformed and perhaps the victim-s of another's design of thought. I don't recallmuch of what rush has ever said that I would ever call lies, but one specific flip flop that he denied vehemently afterward, was that clinton would get elected because of ross perot. Then in his book we bought, he said the opposite. That perot would help bush get reelected. But he's so dagum funny and serious. I doubt Iv'e heard ten things since he lost his tv show that didn't make me laugh. Of course he wasn't really a liar, just opinionated to the point of comedy and there is the spew factor. Much like most of all of us. That's my point by he believes the stuff he spews.

Sooooo, the stuff he spews and believes is the truth?  Or is it not the truth, but merely opinion?  Or is it lies and you find all but ten of them funny?

I'm trying.  I'm really trying to get your point.

No no fox, I see your confusion, to better put it would be to say that, once we formulate an opinion, based on balogna or truth cast by someone else, we have the duty to recognize that we either trust that information or we don't. I get him most of the time but either way he has such a comical slant to me, he's just a funny guy. Not to say that rush is always wrong, not at all. He's right much of the time I feel. I didn't wish to convey that he was always wrong or lied. I hope that wasn't your take. But like you or another said, there is a reason he's so dagnabbed popular. I listen to him as much as I get to, but couldn't get enough of him during the clinton roller coaster ride. So again, to me, he believes most of the stuff he spews, and that which he doesn't believe? He will offer as opinions of another. You know, don't shoot the messenger thing.
