I hate to get into such a moronic argument, where the TrueMal wonder twins again are not able to grasp reality, so will merely pose a question.  Is Obama the best the Democrats have to offer, and if not, who should be their candidate in 2012?

Mallory.

Who else is there to blame? Bush was a wonderful president, if you're a coprporate weasel and a banker or broker. We must always consider that yes, obama took over an already sinking economic vessel, with the worst jobs figures since 1932, while corporations have dumped millions upon millions of jobs, stuffing trillions in their pockets nearly tax free, all sactioned by the previous administartion and like minded congress. Then we get this fool of a democrat that actually convinced a majority of Americans he could change all that. Poop is what we got, because no one could have fixed any of this unless they repealed all that which did this in the first place. So we give, if you will, rat bastard obama a passing grade for trying, only to find out he is fully behind not another, but three more job killing free trade deals, that of course is a cattle call for the new republican house. None of these useless republican or democratic job killing economy busting hacks deserve a job. Who the hogslop cares what the latest fox pole says, or any other. Because once the newest trade deals take more jobs, it will still be obama who is to blame no matter who wins the next election, wich I hope is Sarah Palin. At least it will be a      comical      end to everything. Bozobama should have resigned the day his appiontees had to admit to tax evasion. The best thing for him and the country now would be for him to pull a johnson and bow OUT with his tail between his legs and shut up like the last one.

Obama promised to make things better.  He took various stupid steps that he stated would do that.  He also signed the obamacare bill into law.

Add the 12% who think he had no effect on the economy (even though he promised to improve it) to the 49% that think he actually made it worse, and you have 61% who believe he is a failure as far as the economy goes.  There's no way around that.

"Poll: Obama Five Times Worse Than Carter on Economy

September 8, 2011    RSS Feed      Print

Two new polls today find that just one third of the  public feels President Obama deserves re-election while five times more  Americans think Obama has done a worse job fixing the economy than Jimmy  Carter, the modern era's Herbert Hoover.

Washington  Whispers contributor John Zogby tells us that his new polling is  spirit-crushing for the depressed White House. "It was a very bad week  for Barack Obama. Our polling shows his job approval at 39 percent and  the percentage saying he deserves re-election at 33 percent, both the  lowest of his term, while the percentage of voters saying the nation is  on the wrong track reached a high since he took office at 75 percent,"  he said.
