But the fact is he didn't as it turned out, but until he lied repeatedly about the cause for war, I was with him. Then, he signed the NCLB act that really riled me though I was retired half a decade earlier. Still associated with teaching and not one single educator as I, saw anything but a slick willie way to defund education and blame teachers for the ignorance rate of our students.

No sane and logical person who has studied the history of the situation really believes that Bush "lied repeatedly about the cause for war".  That leaves us with......

Ah, I think we've turned over a rock here!   It looks like I've discovered what is truly behind your negative fixation with Bush.  Ex-teacher, teacher solidarity, NCLB, now I see what's really up.  Someone shakes up the old system and institutes actual tests to determine whether or not we are getting a bang for our tax dollar buck.  This pissed off the "teachers"!  Yep, now I see the light.  Glad we got that out in the open.  It will help us understand what is behind your posts.  Thanks.

Good work there sir. How anyone with such a good collection of history didn't already know that the NCLB law gave the direct blame to educators for the ever increasing under-intelligence of our children is a surprise? Perhaps disbelieving that closing thousands of schools, cutting teacher's pay, and loading classrooms with double and more of students, to then justify cdutting education funding by the billions nation wide, to help support the war? Is as absurd to blame teachers, that actually had nothing to do with the dumbing down of our educational system, but the management of our children's minds set by  that very same government is not. However clearly obvious that might be, had it been any democrat that made that declaration, well a horse of s different color? It's a bit comical that had that been the case, well we would surely be giving obama or clinton another reason to be despised. Aside of all his so called success as president, clinton still lied under oath, he may well have been the recipient of ill gotten investment gains, and been involved in foster's death. He failed on several levels to go in and get bin laden, and he took the distraction road to mogadishu and gave us the first free trade scam. But none of that negates that the supported falsehoods regarding the purchase or attempted purchase of yellowcake. Known to be false to both the president and british prime minister the very day they both arrived before the camera and said it was true. Nor the treasonous act of outing a CIA agent as a result of the exposing of that lie. Nor the claim *I will fire any memeber of my admin. that may be involved. Nor that the so called chemical mobile weapons labs, or the deliberate assertion that they had them, wmd's and we know right where they. Nor the assertion that there was a direct link between 911 and iraq. All untrue and needless of essay. It's as real as the fact that though I was happy he was declared the winner, he did not win in 2000. Upset that a president I was happy he won, would stand before a nation and declare that we teachers are over paid and under qualified to administer the curriculums set by our government, is no more absurd that any other lie he was accused of. Had that been some dumbocrat would I then be justified to be upset? To say our president lied is as easily applied to any republican as democrat. All of that essay material set in that other post has nothing to do with anything regarding the three biggest untruths mr bush asserted. The causes for war were not justifiable as stated by the administration. Opinion? Perhaps we can always assert opinion and essay our thoughts to nothing more. Every one of those mentioned in that other post simply lied. Did we impeach clinton for nothing then. Did nixon and agnew resign for nothing then? Did we fail to do the right thing from 1991 to 2003 then? No yellow cake, mobile chemical weapons labs, no wmd, no connection to 911 are not opinion. They didn't have merrit from the git go. I laughed at kerry the night of the debate when kerry dressed down the president for the war. Mr bush said, with his not too modest smirk, *h3e saw the same reports I did. A good point, but kerry missed the boat by that, all he should have said was, *well mr president, I trusted in my leader that what we read in those reports was the truth. It wasn't. Happy that kerry lost? Yup, he was and is not worthy. But that's not the point. No mr hiroad and others, the president did not hold honesty and integrity in high regard, so we shouldn't hold him either. Just like Nixon, agnew, clinton and sooner or later obama, aside of claims of intention.

No, Bush lied.   You can Google "bush lies" and find plenty of examples.  You can throw out those that are questionable and there are still plenty left, more than enough.
