By the way, back on September 22, because of the absolute worthless condition of our U.S. dollar, I offered to take all those worthless and messy dollars off your hands and dispose of them at my cost. I recently checked my mailbox again. The latest tally shows that, as of this morning I have received a grand total of 0 (zero/zilch) dollars. I'm somewhat dumbfounded. I ask you, what am I to believe?
Here's a reminder of my offer posted on the 22nd:
"Some, myself included, might say that the dollar has already failed. It has lost over 92% of its value since its initial issuance in 1913. After the revaluation in 1934, the dollar dropped another 41%. In my opinion, it already is toilet paper money, but for the above-mentioned characteristics, which are alarmingly similar to the circumstances that led up to the eventual collapse of the dollar’s toilet paper predecessors, I believe that we have seen only the tip of the iceberg of the dollar’s inevitable path toward becoming toilet paper money."
"I agree. I am now accepting all the worthless dollar paper that you want to get off your hands. I have means by which I can dispose of it properly. Send me all your scrap dollars. Don't hesitate. You don't have to put up with the clutter. You can thank me later."
