On this one, you and whoever the "you" is in your post, don't know what you are talking about.

What you call the "Bush stimulus", was not a "stimulus" at all.  It was called TARP (The Troubled Asset Relief Program - remember?).  It was a program that loaned money to banks to prevent them from going under.  It did just that in most cases.  And most of those loans have been paid back.

By the way, when the Obumbler took it over, he appointed one of Barney Frank's "mac" friends as the TARP czar!

The Obama "stimulus" was actually designed as, and always called a "stimulus".  (It was a piece of liberal economic and social engineering).  It, by any measure, never worked (except to funnel money to his donors).

And, by the way, at the time that TARP was instituted during the last days of Bush, it was passed by a Dem. controlled Senate and House.

Another thing you might keep in mind:  These "corporations" you and Mobay keep ragging about; are owned by retirees like me and millions of others as part of our 401 K's and life savings.  Corporations are owned by the public.   Their officers and directors are hired and fired by those stockholders.   Just thought you would like to keep that in mind as you guys blame them for every mess we have.  I don't like you sniping at my companies!

I had to rethink my thoughts and then did it again and couldn't find one dime of this payback you mentioned. Um no, you are wrong here. It's why that chuby puke moore was so up in arms. We did not get our money back there hiroad. But one day perhaps.

Actually sir, it was held up by the republicans who wanted another 130 billion or more in tax cuts tarped in also. Then those loser scum dumbocrats signed on to finish the deal and much of your 401k. Even if you prospered as some did, well sir, most did not unless you were a wall street banker or broker. I don't care who they hire or fire, they screwed us all and were rewarded for it and took off with the jobs and the money, those companies or I mean public folks. I didn't blame them, I blamed every tom dick and harry from the top to the bottom, you know the fellas and gals who write all the laws, up to the top that sign them into eternity for those who seem to be able to donate the most. Isn't that who we are mad at right now. It must be, because all I ever read is how horrible that obumbler is and those filthy democrats. It's almost as if there was never another administration in power just about three years ago for eight years. And almost as though there have never been any other party in power in congress just a few years ago. Funny little thing we have here in this country. Alzheimer's. If you wish to talk about term limits and finance reform and labbyists linching, and political fairness, you know, they get what we get and pay what we pay, and no tax loopholes or perks. Even adopting bush's self serving social security was a smart idea in my book. Then lets get to the pen. But please don't try to convince this old bat that these so called companies are totally blameless. Pishposh.
