This New York Times article is not by Arthur Brooks, but by one of their liberal writers. You didn't read the whole thing did you. That's right, I forgot. You're lazy.
Mr. Kristoff cites Brooks in direct quotes twice and seems to base the majority of his column on Brooks' book. There are no numbers or statistics (except a 30% thrown in once) or hard evidence or anything other than Kristoff's and Brook' opinions. I don't think I'm required to believe them. Sorry if Kristoff is considered to be one of their "liberal" writers. That doesn't make him perfect. |

Only in that liberal "la la" fantasy world is this a matter of "belief". Show me some evidence that democrats are more conservative than republicans. You contend that Kristoff's article contains statements that are not necesarrily false, but rather ones that should not be "believed". Go ahead prove it. Show us how the conclusion you choose is logical, and not just some bias based fictional preference.
