I like our socialist power operation as well as the water, sewage, and internet access. That goes as well for our roads, streets and highways. Include our retirement system too. Our health care system could use a dose of it too. Give me a little time and could come up with other examples. Which of these would you change? |

You are missing the point. The pilgrims tried a commune and it failed. (Like all communes fail). They tried individual ownership and it succeded handily and saved their lives and caused them to prosper. That is the point. By the way, they didn't try "capitalism". The individual ownership naturally led to capitalism.
