Competetion?...that is exactly what part of capitalism is based on....and you certainly hate that!

Why does the bottom of the rainbow always disappear just when you get close?

Competetion?...that is exactly what part of capitalism is based on....and you certainly hate that!


Why do you make this stuff up?   I know competition is the basis for capitalism and that's fine with me.   But there are some sectors of the economy where a little socialism is better.

I like our socialist power operation as well as the water, sewage, and internet access.   That goes as well for our roads, streets and highways.   Include our retirement system too.   Our health care system could use a dose of it too.   Give me a little time and could come up with other examples.

You are missing the point.  The pilgrims tried a commune and it failed. (Like all communes fail).  They tried individual ownership and it succeded handily and saved their lives and caused them to prosper.  That is the point.

By the way, they didn't try "capitalism".  The individual ownership naturally led to capitalism.
